Changes coming to Flickr

Looks like Yahoo! has finally allowed for some changes at Flickr. About bloody time. Flickr hasn’t seen a decent new feature in I don’t know how long and that’s pretty disappointing.

Changes are to include navigation, search, organizr, menus and an increase in the number of photos viewable on a single page. Not a bad list but it’s hardly a complete one. The changes should be available in the next week or so.

Now how about adding statistics, comment notification or any of a multitude of fairly obvious features that should be a part of the site? I love Flickr and all but feature stagnation keeps me from going Pro. I just don’t see a compelling reason to pay when I don’t want to store all my photos online.

Extreme Ultraviolet Imaging Telescope (EIT) image of a huge, handle-shaped prominence taken on Sept. 14,1999. Prominences are huge clouds of relatively cool dense plasma suspended in the Sun’s hot, thin corona. The hottest areas appear almost white, while the darker red areas indicate cooler temperatures.

IE Text Colour Bug

After minimal consideration and a half-hearted attempt to fix the IE text colour bug, I’ve decided to ignore it. I’ve looked at this page in damn near every browser and they all display it the same way. Except for IE.

So, if you use IE, you’re gonna have a problem. Of course it’s your problem and not mine.
