Crankin’ this shit out

Still busy hiding pr0n but I had a few URL’s I wanted to post. So much easier than an actual entry…

  1. del.icio.us has come out with a new extension that makes posting a one click affair. Just like del.icio.us post but a bit more intergrated into Firefox.
  2. speaking of Firefox, 1.5 is now out. I’ve been using rc3 for a while now and it’s great on Windows but still a few bugs in the Mac version, even with the Final release.
  3. a new site was launched a while ago which aggregates digg.com, slashdot and del.icio.us/popular. If you are a fan of any or all of these sites, have a look at diggdot.us
  4. finally, if you’re feeling a bit restricted by your own living situation, have a gander at the Architecture of Density. Your feelings of confinement should pass shortly…

Contractual Obligation

Damn, my blogging has dropped off again. There are a few reasons, mainly that I picked a cold last week that knocked me on my butt for three days. I’m still dealing with the remnants a week on… Also, Biff’s incessant questioning took up a good portition of my time.

What else? Still having some wireless drop-off so I’m gonna try some Linux firmware and see if that helps. I’ve also picked up a small contract to design website for a friend which will keep me busy for a while. I’m never know what to charge but it’s helps her out and adds another site to my ‘portfolio’.

Lastly, it’s Dan’s b-day today and I’m waiting for Janice to drop by this afternoon so we can load up the car with food. Should be a good time :) A few beers tonight should bring the cold back on with a fury.

Well, this sucked. Par for the course I suppose…

Biff is screening my comments

Poor Biff. Hot summer days in a land far away, with nothing to do but get corked and idly gamble. Life is hard for dear Biff.

I’m miffed as I left a comment, suitably cutting and sarcastic, on this post. Slowly, I crafted my comment. Editing it over again to include yet another witty, though fairly obvious observation on his ‘plight’.

Satisfied with my work, I moved my cursor to the Submit button… “Oh this is gonna be good… He totally left himself open! You fool!!”

*snicker* *click* *giggle*

WTF? Where is my comment? *F5* What the hell? I spent so much time… So many shots per line, the sarcasm, how can this be?

Gone. My wonderful comment was to be enjoyed by me and me alone. Such a shame. Sheepishly I closed my browser and crawled under the bed to rue what might have been…

Snow Day!

Well, not really but the effect is the same. I get to work Friday morning and there’s no power on the lower 15 floors. “Oh well, I guess I could have slept a bit longer…”

Once upstairs, those who were in decide to go to White Spot on Georgia for some breakfast. I mention the name and location because I was served a large, black hair with a waffle underneath it. Nice. Very appetizing…

We got a call and were told to go home as they weren’t going to have power until the end of the day. “It’s just like a snow day!” I promptly went home and had a nap.

This morning I was in the area of the office and dropped in as it seemed pretty dark in the lobby. Still no power and notices everywhere saying that it won’t be back on Monday either. “Holy… whatta storm!”

I imagine that someone’s head is gonna roll over this. For now, I don’t plan to go in until I hear that there is power. So I relax. Until Tuesday. When I realize I have to do 6 days work in 4 days.

Freakin’ snow…
