Alrighty then…

Yes. Yes it has been awhile. Thank you for pointing out the obvious. I have been stupidly busy as of late. So busy that I ended up sick on Sunday evening and missed 2 days of work. Good thing for the VPN. I guess…

So, my evenings for the past while have been comprised of Skyping with the wife and trying to plan the wedding, pick out invitations, sort out the immigration bullshit, buy a ticket and pick a place to go on the honeymoon. I should contact Google and see if they’ll sponsor us. The whole thing is being planned with Google Docs and Google Calendar and we both agree it’s the coolest thing ever.

“No I don’t read Korean, why do you ask?” “Why yes, reading Korean would have made this all much easier on both of us.” Apparently there is a holiday coming up; it’s the last thing on my mind these days.

So let’s have a look at the checklist:

  • pick out HanBok - check.
  • have Rach measure me for said HanBok - check. Thank you Paul but an inseam measurement is not required
  • settle on invitations - check. no, I don’t want to look at just one more…
  • buy a ticket - check. what about this date? or this date? or this one?
  • go through almost 4 years of pictures and chat logs and figure out what is important - check. why did I think chat log encryption was a good idea?
  • pick out a honeymoon destination - check. um, don’t they tsunami’s there? I’m sure it’s fine. No I don’t want to look at another Korean travel site.
  • wedding pictures including “our hair and make up” - check. “Ours? Yes. Ok.” “They want how much!? *falls off chair and strikes head* Alright…”
  • This summary only scratches the surface. Compared to what MiHwa has been required to do, it’s nothing. She’s had to do all the booking, including going home to GwangJu last weekend, all the while working 11 hours a day like all good Koreans do. With that being said, I’m really excited. The first week is likely to suck as it’s immigration related but the second week should be fantastic. This is all assuming that I don’t expire before I get there.

Now, go away. I should be working. I ran out of gas this afternoon and left early. All I really want to do is crawl under my bed and go fetal for a few hours… Good thing for the VPN. I guess…

    ahem…

Mark’s dress?!? MARK’S DRESS? Did you say “Mark’s Dress”? Hmm. What to do with this information. Oooo I feel like a kid in a candy store. Like a giddy school girl. And yet, at the same time… I’m speechless.

Wow. What to do with this information. I think I might have some pictures here of Mark in a dress…

I’m not surprised at Mark wearing a dress. I just hope it compliments the purse he’s been toting around for years.

M&M - you are very welcome. No worries to help in any small way to help your lovely union as man and wife, but since Mark is wearing a dress, that means MiHwa is wearing the pants - right?? :-)
