Contractual Obligation
Well, this is lovely; my server seems to be melting down and I can’t get to my site (if you’re reading this, it’s fixed… There was some table overhead in my db. *mental note* ask MiHwa what table overhead is…)
Had a nice dinner at Janice and Dan’s place Saturday evening. Kim and Jen were there as well and we shared a fine meal and many laughes. I learned two things:
- a) if you beat whipped cream too long it will suddenly separate into something resembling cottage cheese
- b) if Janice asks you to play Twister, just say no and leave the room. ‘Nuff said…
Sunday was really nice out so I decided to get out and take some pictures in and around Chinatown. It was a perfect day for it and I really enjoyed myself. Today had a very Sunday feel; go figure… Inexplicably, I decided to get a bus home only to get on the No. 3 *shudder* where I toured the very worst of the Downtown Eastside. I stayed on the bus, riding right past where I got on except that I was now going in the other direction. Sheepishly, I got out at Main St. and took the train.
Sorry for the lack of posts. Actually, I’m not but I am trying to justify my hosting costs. Most of my neighbours seem to be on their meds, so nothing blogworthy has happened lately. I’ve got my eye out tho…
Good having you for dinner. But next time, you must laugh at all my jokes, regardless of their tastelesness or un-PC’ness, it’s mandatory

Hey – I recently whipped cream so much it turned to butter! Lucky I had some spare unwhipped cream on standby -second time it was fine. I blame it on talking and drinking too much while preparing dessert!
And we have Twister back at The Loft too! We will have to have a Twister party with J & D when we are back in the land of friends – oh and you can come too, Mark

BTW – you make me homesick with mention of our local bus route! You do not know how lucky you are until you are forced to take the Loser-Cruiser on a regular basis on Main.
Hats off to MiHwa for the choice of the new TV. Could we please have your old one when we have to give Beefcake & Kate’s back???
