Maybe you have heard of [tag] Stefan Constantinescu[/tag]; he’s either brillant or an asshat, I’m not sure which he is but I know which way I’m leaning.
I’m using a sub 500 MHz PC and am dying to get a taste of the other side of the computing world. The Mac world. Billions of people use the net everyday, I just need a small percentage of those to give up a dollar, and then I’ll have a Mac.
You poor American… how do you get out of bed everyday and know that your PC runs at less than a GHz? You live in the richest nation on the face of the earth. Get yourself a new box like everyone else does. Get a job, save your money and buy one. You’re 19. You don’t need anything more than you already have, you want something more than you already have.
What floors me are all the [tag]imbeciles[/tag] who have actually given this guy money. Almost $1200 as of this writing. All so that this poor American kid can ‘buy’ a 20 inch Intel [tag]iMac[/tag]. The [tag]Cult of Mac[/tag] blog got it right when it came to this guy.
Maybe I should do something similar. Yeah, sure. I could manage that. In fact, I’ll do it so that you actually get something for your buck. Send me a buck and I’ll link to your site, mention your name or give you a paragraph on this blog to post anything you want. I’ll even give the money away. Who would you rather give your [tag]dollar[/tag] to?

Asshat, that is truly one of the most under-used descriptive phrases in the English language.
I am going to make a concerted effort to use it more often.
