Time for another installment of [tag]My 5[/tag]; one of my least popular installments! This week, [tag]podcasts[/tag]. As always, these podcasts are not the best of the web, but they do put a smile on my face when I see them in my [tag]podcatcher[/tag].
With the formalities out of the way, let’s move on and get this over with…
[tag]Buzz Out Loud[/tag] – cNet’s podcast of indeterminate length. This one takes me to work everyday and has yet to disappoint me. A nice team and a good mix of daily tech news.
[tag]Formula Pod[/tag] – I don’t know of many F1 podacasts but Formula Pod has got to be the best. Cory and Brett cover [tag]F1[/tag] with coverage of the race weekends and semi-regular, mid-week news. They have great chemistry and a hilarious view of the circus which makes this a great listen for fans of Formula 1.
[tag]The MacCast[/tag] – I still like the MacCast though I admit the glow has come off a little. Adam is a bit of an Apple apologist which gets under my skin but it’s still the best for Apple tech news. It’d be nice if he were to grow a pair…
[tag]Norm Augustinus[/tag] – Norm’s podcasts are not for the parental units! I was listening to his latest on the way home from work and was biting my cheek so as not to laugh out loud as Norm told the storey of the ‘American punk’ tearing the headliner from his vintage Cadillac. He might not be for everyone but i like it.
[tag]The Web 2.0 Show[/tag] – A podcast about emerging technologies commonly referred to as “Web 2.0″. I could see this one getting old but I just found it and have been going through the archives. So far, so good. Interesting to hear them interview regular people who have used new tech to start a company.
Well, there you have it. I thank you if you are still reading at this point. Since I know that you’re not, I’ll close with a heartfelt bite me. Until next time…

that’s it….i guess i’ll have to purchase one…. what is it… a pod, no i pod (maybe i wouldn’t if i knew what it was i was doing…), any way not all of us want to bite you little buddy…., next blog will be so much better just because you keep trying, just like the little engine that thought he could… cheers…. have a great moment today, they add up….
Hey!
Thanks for listening, if you ever have more feedback on the show, drop us an email (web20show AT gmail.com). Even if you think we are getting stale, we want to hear that too!
Thanks again

Ok dude. Layout looks good but if you have to highlight the text just to read it, you might be wasting your time. Maybe it’s just on Rachel’s crappy Compaq Armada E500 but your blog is one black screen with SEVEN APRIL written on the top.
But hey, I’m sure dark grey writting on a black background seemed really neat at the time…
Ardie, you don’t need an iPod or any other MP3 player to listen to a podcast. It’s just a really stupid name. The easiest way for you to sample them is to grab iTunes from Apple and use it to get your podcasts. http://www.itunes.com
Josh, I didn’t mean for it to come across as you guys being boring; I meant that there are only so many worthy Web 2.0 companies for you to interview. I love the show!
Biff… I think sticky krispy creme fingerprints on your glasses are the real problem. How does it look on your laptop? Or has that been pawned for yet another trip to the track?
thanks buddy, you will always be my family geek, angle, computer, wizard, nerd, kinda guy that i trust!!!! So, if i tune into http://www.itunes.com and have realtime, i can get what you were going on about?? Thanks Mark, i really appreciate this… phone me so I can get what i need…. L&S Ardie :O Bye the bye or as is more modern (i guess) PS – please call – do i need to get into an apple mac or whatever – we are still doing the same ol same ol – but i (we) trust you (naturally) to keep us on the up-stream track… L&S Ardie
Hey, Schnewt, how’s the weather down under????
Dude. Completely black. I literally have to highlight the text, thus inverting the colour to white to read.
I think you need to spend more money on the acid you buy.
Hey Ardie! Weather is good but getting cooler. I think it was only 28 degrees today.
