Ordinarily, I’m careful about making accusations like this, because I know I’ll get hammered by
Apple bashers. But in this case, there’s not a shred of doubt: most of the featuresMicrosoft demonstrated last night were pure, unadulterated ripoffs from MacOS X .
I’ll freely admit that I’m interested in seeing










meh … a pretty superficial review of the eye candy. it’s what’s under the hood that counts and there is a lot of work being done there.
Karan always has the best return comments. the man should be in politics…
… I agree with Karan… under the hood… like buffer overflows errors, reference counting errors over dll boundaries, api’s that have exceeded the 100 parameter barrier, automation objects that don’t even work as documented, new highlighting features that highlight even more crap that you never intended to select in the first place. There’s nothing better than seeing for the first time of a new OS release how Microsoft has figured out even more of what you were intending to do before you attempt to do it.
Of course you realize, Karan… I say all this with the intention of making this post a little more interesting
