…a good turn for once. First though, thanks for all the birthday wishes. Biff, you need your mouth washed out with soap (and a kick in the junk) but I accept you have your own ‘special way’ to send your wishes. I had a great dinner last night which served to remind me that I have wonderful friends. Not like I needed to be reminded though…

Today things finally started falling into place for me. First off, I decided to take the larger apartment down the hall. It’s gonna feels huge compared to this place. It’s not huge but this place is tiny.

Views of the North Shore, Stanley Park and the marina which I’m looking forward to. I’m also looking forward to the extra space and maybe, just maybe getting a dining room table for the first time in my adult life. I’m not looking forward to shelling out an extra $200 a month but what can you do? Move to Port Moody? I don’t think so…

I felt better about my decision when I got the call I had been waiting for and was offered the job I interviewed for last week. I hope it works out well and the money isn’t that bad… I thought it would be less than what they offered but it’s still not stellar. Compared to my current income which is nothing, it’s wonderful.

All in all, a good day…
