Oddly, I’m still awake after 29 hours without sleep. I’m tired but so screwed up that I’m not sure of what I’m to be doing now. So I will blog…
Speaking of screwed up, it took over 20 minutes to get everyone off the plane. Why would that be? Canadian Immigration. 400+ people trying to get off a plane and two ‘officers’ in the gangway inspecting passports. Not Canadian? Then you get questioned. Nice, very nice. Only in Canada is busy work so highly valued. Near the baggage check there was a cowboy walking around questioning non-Canadians. It was embarrassing to watch.
The flight went well; only one baby but there was a group of a dozen or so teenagers who thought that when the lights went out it was time to get up and mingle. Could have been worse.
We landed about 9 AM and I was home by 12:30. Had a shower and then sat here wondering what to do. It’s a strange feeling; you fly half-way around the world, have a fantastic adventure and the next thing you know it’s all over. You’re standing in your kitchen as if it never happened.
I’m also happy to report that I got my pictures off the memory card. I found one pic that fails to draw and I think that might have been the problem. Still it’s a shame as there were many nice pictures that could have been taken.
Hmmm… I guess I should study or something.

Sorry about the post vacation depression, but welcome home
)
Look forward to seeing the pictures that you got!
Sounds like you had a very good time.
I can’t believe that they would hold up a plane that big to check for passports right after you get off the plane. Very strange….
Did they not realize who you were? I mean, if they knew you were who you are, I’m sure they would have moved you to the front of the line. I mean, you just had that long flight! With tenagers no less! I’m sure they would have understood that you were tired and didn’t want to wait. Shocking. Really, really shocking.
I mean, is there someone I can write to about this? Something needs to be done! Perhaps we can start a collection to hire a really good writer who could write a really nasty letter on your behalf. No really, he could use big words and clever sayings like “I was really, really, really tired and didn’t want to wait in line”. Ya, something like that.
Wait, what’s that I hear in the distance? It sounds like a really, really small violin. Hey, and its playing just for you!
Phew… man, I haven’t been sarcastic in like 3 weeks. Thanks Mark, I really needed that. Like, really. I thought I was going to explode.
you funny man biff. hey did you know that cockroaches like to sleep in your nose at night? it’s a fact…
btw, remind me to kick you in the junk come june…
