Herro from Tokyo
Tokyo Monday 3:00 PM ::Well, yesterday was the worst day of the trip by far. Saying goodbye to MiHwa was harder than last year. I really wanted to take her with me. Soon…
Secondly my cold kicked into overdrive on the plane. Constantly running nose, punctuated by ugly, moist sneezes. I was a popular passenger to sit around. Not only that, I felt like my ears were going to blow off my head from the inside. Much fun.
To add insult to injury, the trip to the hotel was as long as the flight. Two traffic jams meant that it was over 2 hours to get here. I felt like death and probably looked like it to. The hotel is nice though I have no idea of where I am in the city. 23rd floor with nice views but it is cloudy and rainy today. Reminds me of home.
Despite my state, I ventured out and it was so cool. Very much like Seoul but cuter… Actually, it is similar to Vancouver. No more Engrish here than Seoul though.
Anyway, I`m heading home tomorrow (that is Wednesday to you Biff…) so I will see you all soon. Hopefully my head doesn`t esplode on the plane.

you know, you can catch a plane to sydney from tokyo… its only a 10 hour flight…
I gather you still had a great time while you were there, midnight?
Too bad about the cold, though. Flying with a cold sucks…. especially when you’re the one doing the flying.
Biff, you have 4.5 hours to arrange that ticket for me. I’m a wee bit tapped at the moment but I’ll make it up to you with all the Starbucks you can drink for a month. Should be about even…
Roger, yes, even with the cold I’ve had a fantastic time. I just wish I didn’t have it as I could have used more energy to do a few more things. Lots to do around the hotel though so there wasn’t much need to go anywhere.
