Something is up at Infowave. A new investor is to ‘recapitalize and reorganize Infowave’s business’. Still haven’t figured out what is going on but there will be a 10-1 reverse split of the outstanding shares. Danno, you now own 1 share. Read more here while I try to make sense of it all.
“After the completion of the transaction, it is expected that Infowave would participate in the development of three buildings to be constructed at Concord Pacific Place in Vancouver, B.C.”
Naturally, there is nothing of the news on the Infowave site.

yeah, saw this as well, definatly weird. Is IW going to be getting into condo development? Because that seems like a natural evolution from wireless software development…
Terry Hui is buying up IW. He also owns Multiactive Software (Maximizer), so I suspect there is still software development in his mind. But very weird, will have to wait for this one to pan out some more.
Well, after the purchase of (Transmeta?)’s product, they’ve really gotten into custom solutions and wireless solutions for industrial applications (wireless connectivity on work sites). Perhaps they’ve simply gotten a contract to supply those work sites with wireless connectivity solutions.
I own one share !?!? So what happens if they do another 10:1 reverse split? Do they only give me 0.1 of a vote at AGM’s?
Jrom Jerry…
“I would also like to take this opportunity to reassure our customers and business partners that this transaction will have no impact on Infowave’s day-to-day operations and it should be ‘business as usual’ throughout.” ”
Um… maybe it should have an impact. SOME kind of impact… ANYTHING!!! PLEASE!!!!
Biff, you know the ‘J’ is no where near the ‘F’…
Marko, do you have any drunk how idea I am?
…I never thought it would happen.
Don’t be surprised NetChick. I drink all the time…
