Been a while since I posted, so I little update. Monday, Biff and I went out to Richmond and tore up the indoor kart track. That was $50 well spent. What fun! Now there was some confusion regarding the timing and scoring but the print out said we got third and that’s the storey we’re going with.

Speaking of stats and the like, 97 people ended up here after doing a search for Adrian Clarkson. A negative aspect is all the comment spam. Sometime tomorrow (or maybe even tonight) I will have received more comment spam than actual comments. My stats are increasingly littered with crap that has nothing to do the visitors actually coming here.

It’s gotten to the point that I’ve actually given thought to pulling the site down for a while though I doubt it would make much difference at the end of the day.

So yeah, that’s about it. I’m pretty sure I had more to say but at this point it escapes me and I really don’t care.

Having a long weekend doesn’t do much for a guy when you’re stuck at home with a cold. I’m feeling better today which is nice. Now, more news you don’t care about…

The F1 season wrapped up today at Interlagos in Brazil. With the Canucks not playing that means there’s nothing sporting on until March. I considered watching baseball tonight but I snapped out of that in short order. What on earth was I thinking?

I hate to say it but Jacques Villeneuve’s return with Renault was disappointing though this weekend was his best of the three. Formula1.com has live timing for all the races and his sector times were pretty competitive but he was turning those laps midpack. I hope Sauber isn’t reconsidering…

It was also Jaguar’s last race after Ford decided they couldn’t afford to play anymore. Thankfully there are no shortage of suitors and actually we can look forward to a couple of new teams in 2006. One out of the Middle East, Team Dubai F1 and the Canadian, Midland F1 headed by a Russian guy which I still am suspect of.

Midland is based in Toronto and is working on the Trump Tower among other things though the race team would be based in Europe. He seems to have a view that starting a new team from scratch would be easy though at least he says $100 million a year is no problem.

I really hope this guy doesn’t make Canada look stupid.

Dammit, I seem to have picked up another cold. No more licking the grab bars on the bus for me… So I feel crappy today.

The observant reader will note that I have added multiple style sheets to the site. *sneeze* Of course, if I thought any of you were observant, I wouldn’t be mentioning it here. Nothing too exicting, just some different colours but I wanted to see it working before I did anything too crazy with it.

I had lunch with Angelo yesterday which was nice. We hadn’t gotten together in the longest time though we’d talked about it a lot. Hopefully we do it a little more often. We managed to find a cool little lunch place on Mainland that serves breakfast all day. No, I don’t recall the name but I know how to get there when I need to.
