One door closes…
…and another opens. Not surprisingly, I didn’t get the position that I had been interviewing for. I don’t feel bad about it as I knew all along that I was a long shot. I got to meet some really nice folks and you never know when our paths might cross again. Vancouver is a pretty small community.
Today I have another interview for a position that is very similar to the first and probably much more inline with my current skill level. I think I have a good shot at it as I do have some experience that they are looking for and that should work in my favour. It’s a contract to start but as I understand it there is a chance to be converted to permanent after the contract is over.
All I know is that I want to go to the beach! I need to convince Andrea to give me a Brazilan wax and then I’ll be all set. Now where’s my Speedo?
