On that front, if you are interested in some good reading, I recently added this site to my blogroll - http://weblogs.asp.net/jobsblog/.  It has some nice useful info on what tech recruiters at Microsoft do and some of the tips (especially on resumes) are pretty handy.

And no, they&#039;re not all sweatshops - I&#039;m happy to be working some pretty normal hours these days, and don&#039;t see that changing in the near future.  I have heard about other software companies that are striving to re-introduce the concept of &quot;life outside of work&quot; to their employees, oddly enough it seems to be a selling point for prospective workers :-)
